HERO BIKE FESTIVAL 2026: READY TO RIDE AGAIN IN THE DOLOMITES?

Dear HEROes,

The countdown to the HERO Bike Festival has begun, when Selva Val Gardena will once again become the beating heart of international mountain biking for the occasion of the HERO Südtirol Dolomites 2026.

Join us from 11 to 14 June 2026 for four unforgettable days of events, activities, meetings and world-class sport set against the unique backdrop of the Dolomites.

The festival officially kicks off on Thursday, 11 June, with the opening of the HERO/ZERO Village, featuring stands and exhibition areas dedicated to the off-road world, alongside the Südtirol Sustainability Lounge, a special space where visitors can discover and taste the authentic flavours of Südtirol.

In the afternoon, race bib collection will begin at Pranives Stadium, while the day will conclude with the inspiring HERO Charity Night presented by Generali-Cattolica in Medal Plaza.

The theme of the evening will be resilience, a key value when facing challenges in sport and in life. In the magical setting of Medal Plaza, Kataklò Group will perform a show combining dance, acrobatics and physical theatre, together with the moving testimony of Fabio Radrizzani, the athlete who completed the 2025 HERO Dolomites with only one leg.

On Friday, 12 June, both the Village and the Sustainability Lounge will be open from the morning.

In the afternoon, it will be time for the youngest riders with the HERO Kids, the event designed to bring children and families closer to the world of mountain biking, followed by the HERO Kids Party.

The day will also host the HERO Race Talk, the public event bringing together the stars of the HERO UCI Marathon World Cup, who will share their thoughts and expectations ahead of the big race the next morning.

Saturday, 13 June will be the most anticipated day of all: at first light, the HERO Südtirol Dolomites will begin, with thousands of fans and supporters ready to cheer on the riders along the course.

Participants can choose between three spectacular routes:

  • 86 km with 4,500 metres of elevation gain
  • 71 km with 4,100 metres of elevation gain
  • 60 km with 3,200 metres of elevation gain

The first finishers are expected in Nives Sqaure around 11:00 AM for the 60 km course, followed by riders from the longer distances around midday.

To close the day, The Great Finale! will celebrate the protagonists of the race and the true HERO spirit.

Now is the time to turn challenge into conquest: the HERO awaits you among its peaks.
