Get ready for a truly unique race in the heart of the Pyrenees. Thanks to its spectacular setting and strategic spot in the calendar, the HERO UCI Marathon World Cup in Naturland will draw some of the best riders in the discipline. The route winds through high-mountain trails and forest paths, offering breathtaking scenery and a demanding challenge that every mountain biker will want to experience.
The race takes place within the Bike Show Naturland, an unmissable festival for cycling enthusiasts. Over an entire weekend, the Pyrenees become a stage for world-class events.

The race takes place in Sant Julià de Lòria at 908 meters above sea level, surrounded by the majestic peaks, lush valleys, and dense forests of the Pyrenees — one of Europe’s most breathtaking natural havens.
At the center of this spectacular setting lies Naturland, a renowned destination for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts alike. With its panoramic views, inspiring landscapes, and untouched beauty, Naturland stands as a true icon of nature at its finest.
TEMPERATURES
At the end of May, Naturland in Andorra enjoys mild spring conditions, with daytime temperatures between 15°C and 22°C. Early mornings and evenings can be cooler, so riders should be prepared for refreshing alpine air at higher altitudes—perfect for a crisp and energizing ride through the Pyrenees.
RACE ROUTE
The Naturland–Andorra 2026 route is a slightly new one and is true mountain challenge that links Andorra and Catalonia in one spectacular loop. Starting at Naturland (Cota 2000), riders dive into a fast descent to the Spanish side before tackling rolling terrain through Bescaran. From there begins a relentless 13 km climb back into Andorra, reaching over 2,200 m. Technical descents, rocky singletracks, and a final climb to 2,000 m complete this demanding yet stunning course through the Pyrenees.

The 2026 HWC Prize Money
The 2026 HERO UCI Marathon World Cup boasts a total jackpot of € 25,000. The prizes and the winners of the HERO UCI Marathon World Cup will be awarded on 20 September 2026 at the final overall HWC Award Ceremony during La Tramun Sea Otter Europe in Girona/Costa Brava (ESP).
All cash prizes are subject to tax withholdings. As per Law 91/1981 (Article 3, Paragraph 2, Letter a) and DPR 600/1973, the withholding tax for Italian residents is 20%, while for non-residents, it is 30%.
