“I was there” at the HERO Costa Blanca’s first edition!

Have you already signed up for the 2026 HERO UCI Marathon World Cup? If the answer is no, discover the trails of the circuit’s first round which will take place in Calpe-Benissa – you won’t regret it. The first edition of the HERO Costa Blanca features two trails. The first boasts 82 km and 2,700 hm, while the second comes in at 50 km and 1,400. A great way to start the season, wouldn’t you agree? Both trails start with a soft, asphalt climb along the streets of Benissa – a beautiful, inland hamlet – to then face the La Solana climb. From here, technical climbs and steep downhills await all the way towards Sierra de Bèrnia, set against the backdrop of the sea. One last push awaits before crossing the finish line in Calpe: the extremely technical trail in Sierra de Oltà.

REGISTRATIONS

You can already register for the different 2026 HERO UCI Marathon World Cup races in the Élite and Master Licence categories on the Datasport portal.

To qualify for the overall ranking of the HERO UCI Marathon World Cup, the longest trail – 82 km – is the one Élite and Maser License athletes will need to face.
