Off-road enthusiasts, unite! The season’s first race in Calpe-Benissa for the HERO Costa Blanca presented by Millennium Luxury Properties

Dear HERO,

The countdown for the debut of the HERO Costa Blanca presented by Millennium Luxury Properties has started. Just under 20 days until the 2026 HERO UCI Cross-Country Marathon World Cup’s first stage, held in Calpe, Spain, on Saturday, 21 February.

The thrilling and jam-packed programme will start with the opening of the HERO Village at Parc de la Creativitat. Cyclists and fans alike will be able to browse the stands on Friday, 20 February between 10:00 and 17:00. On that very same day, the official 2026 UCI XCM Teams unveiling will take place at 15:30. We’re counting on you to be there!

On Saturday, the Men Elite will kick off from the start line at Parc de la Creativitat at 8.00, with the Women Elite following at 8:10. The Master category will start at 8:20, and will be followed by the amateurs at 8:30, who will be able to choose from the Elite’s “long” course or opt for a 50-km and 1,400 hm alternative. An ideal solution for anyone who still hasn’t trained for long distances in February.

Head to the finish line at 12:00 to welcome the first cyclists from the Men Elite category, followed y the Women Elite and the Master categories. At 13:00 the Flower Ceremony will kick off, celebrating the winners of the HERO Costa Blanca presented by Millennium Luxury Properties – what a way to end the day!

And while the grownups test their mettle on the Costa Blanca’s hills, the Organising Committee carved out a space for the HEROes of the future. The HERO Kids Costa Blanca will take place on Saturday, 21 February at 9:30. A great event to introduce even the youngest in the crowd to the beauty that is mountain biking.
