The Solana-Benissa Challenge – your challenge awaits on the Calpe-Benissa track

Dear HEROes,

We want to ring in the debut of the HERO Costa Blanca presented by Millennium Luxury Properties with an extra special surprise. Prepare to face a 2.35 km and 272 hm climb with an average 8.5% incline – and as you face it, we’ll be watching how you do.

Raise the bar right at the height of the race, when your legs are burning with fatigue and you’re overcome by doubts. And yet now is not the time to give up but to show everyone what you’ve got.

THE SOLANA–BENISSA CHALLENGE will test your limits – and challenge you to go above and beyond. Tap into your inner strength and show us the HERO that lives within.

Timed block on the race route: between LA SOLANA CLIMB START and MIRADOR DE LA SOLANA

Maximum time:

  • Elite Men: 10’
  • Elite Women: 12’
  • Master Men: 14’
  • Master Women, Amateurs: 18’

Will you be up to the challenge? Only time – literally – will tell 😊

How does it work? It’s as easy as this: every HERO Costa Blanca presented by Millenium Luxury Properties athlete competing on the 82-km course will automatically take part in the challenge. The maximum time will be recorded between two designated locations and published online after the race.

Every HERO who completes the climb within the maximum time will receive an exclusive HERO Limited edition jersey – black for the men, and white for the women.
