TRUE HEROES ARE FORGED IN THE HEART OF THE MINES.

The countdown to the 2026 HERO UCI Marathon World Cup in Capoliveri, on Elba, has begun.

Dear HEROes,

The amazing debut in Calpe, on the Costa Blanca, is well behind us – which means it’s time to hop back on our bikes toward a new, unmissable challenge: the second round of the 2026 HERO UCI Marathon World Cup. Join us on the mesmerising island of Elba during the Capoliveri Legend Cup.

The race will be disputed around the former mines of Monte Calamita, a place where the past – made of iron extraction and the grit and resilience of the miners – can still be felt to this very day. Resilience and grit will be exactly what are needed on 9 May to face the Capoliveri Legend Cup.

Unlike the 2025 edition, both the start and the end of the race will converge in the centre of Capoliveri. The Marathon track boasts 74 km and 2,600 hm – it’s much more than a simple race track: it will forge our cyclists into true heroes.
Rough paths, demanding mule tracks, scenic roads which seem to be suspended between the sky and sea – clouds of dust, rocky trails, and the Mediterranean bush also await. And the bike tyres will run on the very same ferrous soil that have shaped he history of this island and its people for centuries.

Capoliveri isn’t just a round of the UCI World Cup. It’s a testing ground for one’s character.

If you feel you’re as hard as iron, then this is your race.
